JP This album is quite different from the S/T debut; more intensity, higher tempo and more pummeling. A result of the chaotic 2020 perhaps. Only downside is the very hot mastering job, making my ears tired after just a couple of songs. Favorite track: Pulsar 3.

Vileinist This one immediately caught my attention. Haunting melodies echo and hold together the churning chaos. A relentless pummeling for sure, but in a meditative manner rather than brutal. Favorite track: Pulsar 2.

The second MITOCHONDRIAL SUN album shows a very different side of the project. The material on "Sju Pulsarer" is fast, urgent and chaotic while still being full of emotionally charged melodies and atmospheric soundscapes.

CD and LP (white vinyl) to be released via Argonauta Records.
