about

The ever changing MITOCHONDRIAL SUN project returns with a six-track EP entitled "Bodies and Gold". Musically speaking, the material falls somewhere in between the contemplative and moody debut album and the intense "Sju Pulsarer" follow up.

The songs - from the cinematic and slow moving opener "Sic Transit Anima Mundi" to the industrial full-throttle closing track "Velocities" - differs a lot from each other in style but share the same vibe, which is dystopian and cold, yet organic and - occassionally -hopeful.

As part of the new LTD100 series from Argonauta Records, a limited one-time pressing of 100 hand numbered vinyl copies will be made. These will solely be available directly from Argonauta Records and the Mitochondrial Sun Bandcamp page (and not from any external distributors).

Please note: The official release date is September 10.

Enjoy & thanks for the support!
